Breathing Technique to Quiet the Mind

This is a breathing technique that may help to quiet the mind when it will NOT be stilled.

Place yourself in a relaxed and comfortable position drawing focus to your breathing. Inhale imagining the earths energy rushing through your body. STOP and comfortably hold your breath for a count of ten. EXHALE imaging the energy of the universe flowing back through your body to the earth. STOP and comfortably hold your breath for a count of ten. Continue this cycle until you feel calm.

Give gratitude and move into your day.

    Getting health right is not always about all that though is it? Sometimes I find it’s more of a state of mind than anything else, where you need to be in total control of what you are trying to achieve. That probably sounds a bit voodoo, but you know what I mean.
