10~Minute~Meditation:

 

First get comfortable, either seated or lying down, and close your eyes. As you begin to breathe rhythmically, imagine your body relaxing. Inhale fresh oxygen; exhale negativity and tension out. With each and every easy breath, imagine your entire body letting go. Picture a beautiful safe place, that brings you peace, joy, comfort.  Imagine the smell of the air and the colors that surround you, feel the warmth of the sun on your face and the earth beneath your body.

Now begin with your feet: Clench your toes and release them a few times, now let them relax. ~LET GO~ Move up your body tensing and releasing your ankles, your knees, legs, hips, one at a time. ~BREATHE~. Moving up your body, relaxing your torso, breathing in the positive and releasing all that negative energy. Relaxing your fingers, clench together and release fully, LET GO, RELAX, BREATH. Now as you begin relaxing your hands, your arms and your shoulders, imagine your perfect life. Move if you must to become even more comfortable, more relaxed. You are doing perfectly. With the next breath, you now relax your spine allowing your chest to fall deep into the comfort beneath you, let go, relaxing all the muscles in your neck. Peace, comfort, relaxing.

Let the tension melt from between your eyes and soften your mouth as you let your lips gently part, releasing all negative thoughts. Any knots of tension are now being released with each and every breathe, as you exhale, your entire body unwinds, relaxes, surrenders.

Now your body is completely relaxed, your mind relaxes, all the mental chatter quiets and you find peace flowing throughout your body. Breathe and allow your very Being to be calm.

SLOW DOWN~BREATHE~RELAX~ENJOY.

Concentrate on your breathing, releasing, surrendering, enjoying………..

 

Gently, breathe in and begin to rouse yourself out of this space slowly; offer gratitude and return to this peaceful, relaxing place again and again.

 

NOW is the perfect time to journal any thoughts, ideas or visions that came to you during your meditation practice.
